Qi Gong/Kung Fu In-Person
This class is an introduction into Chinese internal martial arts. We will begin with a simple qigong set and progress to learning some foundational kung fu movements. Open to adults and teens, the movements are adaptable to accommodate all levels of ability.
Qi gong is an ancient method of calm, meditative movement that promotes general wellbeing. With a focus on breath and fluid movement in the joints, it is healthful for everybody.
Charlotte Gibbons is a Hudson Valley based licensed massage therapist. She has been studying Qigong and Kung fu for over a decade. She is an assistant instructor with the North American Tang Shou Tao Association, where she studies martial arts and medicine.
